Super gravity review
Rating:
The Good
Predictable grip.
Good wear resistance.
Good breaking grip.
Good edge grip
Good impact resistance.
Rolling resistance surprisingly good.
The Bad
Really good up until it gets really muddy and clogs, not quite a mud tyre.
Overall Review:

Arguably the best all rounder there is.

I will definitely buy again.

Ultra soft front

soft rear

Not my first choice.
Rating:
The Good
Good on soil
The Bad
Poor wear life (as per usual schwable)
Poor rolling speed.
Poor grip on rock.
Poor grip on roots.
Skittish on flat corners.
Usual side knobble direction leaves uninspiring feeling.
Overall Review:

Ended up with one not through choice on a new bike. Found it to be very uninspiring on the downs, and felt like trying to pedal a tractor tyre on the ups. The unforgiving sidewall leaving a harsh ride despite lower pressures, and inspite of trying higher pressures still easy to burp tubeless, although easy to set up so, but then all the sealant seeps through the sidewall despite being a tubeless version. As not made of money will run these into the ground (to be fair only about 20k to go......) and will replace with conti der kiaser projekt.

Magic mary super gravity (front) 27.5 and 26
Rating:
The Good
Very predictable, reliable and will never hold you back.
Excellent pinch or puncture resistance with super gravity casing.
Great grip in loose, soft, roots, rocky, muddy etc. Bites in corners and rowdy off camber transitions.
The Bad
Rolls slower then other options if you're not pointed down. If you have a long pedal, the descent hopefully is worth it but not the tire for longer rides if your buddies have faster rolling rigs. You'll be working for it.
Pricey.
Overall Review:

It's my favorite tire, I don't always run it upfront due to pedally nature of surrounding trails but I always regret not having it in rowdy areas.

Comparing last couple Colorado road trips and moab, I've ridden the same stuff with a hans dampf upfront vs a magic Mary and the difference was very rewarding.

Whole enchilada... greens creek (monarch), Dr's Park, Steamboat etc.... don't leave home without it.

I run the snakeskin on the front. I have found it to be sure footed in most situations. I'm not one to take a number tyres with me for different surfaces during a race season so this one is my choice.
The Bad
Quick wearing on Rocky trails. I guess thats the pay off for fantastic grip
Overall Review:

I won't use any thing else

Grip For Days
Rating:
The Good
Possibly the most confidence inspiring front tire I've ever used. Tons of grip that I can just push into and trust it's going to hold me through the turn.
The Bad
I can't say much bad about this tire other than it is a bit slow as a rear tire and when run out back the side knobs like to rip off.
Overall Review:

I've tried many tires and keep coming back to this one. I won't run anything else on the front and I will probably put another one on the back when the current Hans Dampf is toast. We have a mix of granite, roots, and a little dirt where I ride my trail bike and this tire just works.

It's at least "quite good" at literally all conditions in terms of grip. Best suited to intermediate-wettish.
It's best strength is simply that you'll never be uncertain about tyre choice for racing multi stage Enduros.
The Bad
Schwalbes side wall choices are all or nothing.
The SnakeSkin ones are a bit on the thin side, whereas the Super Gravity ones are a bit overkill.

Also Schwalbe don't make all the compound/tread patterns that I'd want. For example they don't make a Magic Mary in a hard or even medium compound, which would be great for a winter rear use tyre.
Oh and they do drag slightly more than average on the rear (because they're only available in Soft or Ultra Soft compounds)
Overall Review:

Apart from the Dirty Dan mud spike, this is the only serious gravity aimed tread pattern tyre that Schwalbe make. And that isn't because they can't be bothered (god knows, they make about a million other tread pattern tyres), it's simply because they don't need to - Mary's cover pretty much everything, which for me is their biggest strength.

I'm 30+ and have 2 kids these days, so my racing days are kind of over, but through my 20's I raced nearly every weekend. My biggest hang up was always tyre choice. It did my head in. I even had 3 complete wheelsets with different tyres on just to make changes as quickly as possible, but I never satisfied - always fretting that I'd made the wrong choice for race runs.

All that was until I discovered Schwalbe Magic Mary's. Fit and forget.

They corner well in everything, they clear well, don't wear particularly quickly and the rear drag is slowish, but acceptable.

My only gripe is mentioned above - the sidewall choices. The SnakeSkin ones are about 750g and the Super Gravity about 1150g. I really wish there was something in between, around 950g

Addix Speedgrip (blue identifier) – the universal compound. Good for XC, AM and Trail. Replaces the previous PaceStar compound.

Addix Soft (orange identifier) – The compound is used just as often in demanding all-mountain and trail riding as in the enduro and downhill world. It has good rolling characteristics and at the same time outstanding damping, both of which are also evident at low temperatures. It’s also ideal for e-MTBs.

Addix Ultra Soft (purple identifier) – The compound with maximum damping, perfect for hardcore use in enduro and downhill. Seriously improved low-temperature properties in terms of grip and damping, compared to the previous VertStar compound make it suitable for year-round use.

Sidewall
67 TPI casing with additional protection options:

SnakeSkin Tubeless Easy (TLE) – monofile SnakeSkin fabric for cut resistant sidewalls and easy tubeless conversion, folding bead cores

SnakeSkin TLE with Apex – reinforced sidewalls (2 layers of carcass) special construction for lightweight tires in Plus sizes offering more stability at low pressure, folding bead cores

Super Gravity – quadruple ply casing makes the sidewall stable and safe, tread remains flexible and grippy with a two ply casing, all around SnakeSkin provides protection against cuts
